The Laser Facelift
Precise Contouring For Small Areas
Traditionally, a facelift involves removing and tightening loose sagging skin on the face and neck to achieve a fresh, more youthful appearance. While the traditional facelift is the “gold standard” in facial rejuvenation; the significant down time and recovery is often a concern for many patients.
Technology and the use of lasers has evolved over the past decade. The newest advance in facial rejuvenation, is the ability to use a highly targeted, precise, angled laser beam to contour and tighten the skin, lift the jowl and tighten the neck area.
Dr. Ashruf is highly trained with the use of the angled laser, also known as the Sidelaze laser. We routinely perform the Precision Tx facelift and and achieve excellent results.
The benefits of the angled laser is the ability of the laser beam to contour smaller areas of the face and neck, safely and effectively with just a single treatment in about 45 minutes. The advantages to patients are tremendous. With the use of the targeted laser, the downtime and recovery are minimal. Most people elect to have the procedure on a Friday, and are able to return to work on Monday. The Precision Tx facelift is also known as the “weekend recovery” facelift.
Who is the ideal candidate for the Precision Tx procedure?
Clinically, most of our patients are in their late 40’s and 50’s. These patients typically have mild to moderate loose skin and excess fat present in their face and neck. There is also some sagging present in the jowl area and some laxity of the neck skin. Women who undergo the Precision Tx treatment are able to recover within a very short time, often 2-3 days and feel the results provide them with a youthful, rejuvenated lift. During your consultation, Dr. Ashruf will be able to determine the procedure that is best for you. In some cases, those individuals with excessive loose skin of the face and neck will benefit from a traditional facelift.
How long do the results last?
The Precision Tx facelift stimulates your body to form new collagen. This minimally invasive treatment allows for long lasting results- on average about 3-5 years.
What does the Precision Tx facelift involve?
The treatment area will be treated with local anesthesia. This allows for a comfortable
experience. The discomfort associated with the Precision Tx facelift is minimal.
